Religion and ethics

NSW schools offer special religious education and special education in ethics. Approved providers deliver these, where available.

At Ingleburn Public School, SRE delivered on Tuesday, held over different times for different years: 11:30-12:10 for Year 1 & 2 students and from 12:15-1:00 for Year 3,4,5 & 6 students.

On enrolment parents/carers will be given the SRE participation letter to complete and return. After the initial enrolment, written notification is required from parents/carers to change a SRE class or to withdraw from SRE.

SRE classes offered at Ingleburn Public School include Catholic, Hindu, Islamic and Protestant. During the time that SRE classes are being held, students not attending will be located in a separate space and will participate in meaningful activities.
