Staying healthy into the new school year

Immunisation is a simple, safe and effective way to protect your family from harmful diseases this holiday season and into 2020. Visit your doctor for general health and vaccination advice.

Immunisation not only protects you and your family but also others in your community, by reducing the spread of preventable diseases.

Children starting school in 2020 must have up-to-date immunisations to enrol.

These vaccinations help protect children from highly infectious and severe diseases including whooping cough and measles.

Travel health

If you’re travelling overseas during the school holidays, you may need vaccinations or medication – both for general health protection and for region-specific diseases.

If you’re travelling to the Northern Hemisphere, you may even need a flu shot.

NSW schools respond to bushfires

Many schools are responding to the catastrophic fire rating that is affecting communities across the state this week.

We are continuously updating the School safety page with a list of government and non-government schools, as well as TAFE NSW campuses that are currently non-operational.

While some schools are temporarily non-operational due to localised fires, many others in high-risk areas are non-operational as a precautionary measure.

Schools in some areas are being used as emergency evacuation centres at the direction of the Rural Fire Service.

For schools that are currently operational, school pickups and dropoffs will continue as usual. If your school is currently non-operational, it will likely remain so tomorrow.

Large scale distressing events affect our school communities in many ways. Headspace’s mental health support resource (PDF 100.52KB) is available to help students, teachers and school staff respond to the bushfires.

Visit the School safety page for updates. The department’s Facebook and Twitter accounts will also provide updates during this period.

Book yourself in for Reading Hour

This Australian Reading Hour, encourage your child to discover or rekindle their love of a good book. Take the time to learn, escape and relax on Thursday 19 September and read for one hour.

Get involved at home

Join in at home and read your child a bedtime story. Studies show that reading a bedtime story six days a week can give kids almost a year’s head start when they begin school. Reading has also been shown to develop empathy, promote critical thinking and help children find a sense of self.

Join in from the classroom

Bestselling children’s author and illustrator Matt Stanton will broadcast live to primary school children across the country from the Sydney Opera House on Tuesday 17 September. We invite schools to register for the livestream of this free event.

Stanton’s author talk is among more than 140 events happening across the country involving more than 50 authors.

Take the Book Swap Challenge

We all have favourite books that we come back to again and again.

To help celebrate Reading Hour take our Book Swap Challenge. We want students, teachers, staff and parents to try reading something new on the day. To get involved, simply pair up with someone and swap your favourite books.

Take a photo and tag it with #ReadingHour so we can see how you got involved.

Video – #ReadingHour authors talk about their favourite place to read

Duration: 0:38

Looking for a good spot to open a book? We asked authors Benjamin Law, Morris Gleitzman, Jacqueline Harvey and Mick Elliott about their favourite place to read.

A Farewell Message from Miss Hrabica

Dear friends, colleagues, parents and students,

It will come as no surprise to many of you, that after 11 months of extended leave spending more time with family and friends, enjoying new activities, and just having the time to do whatever I want, whenever I want, I am announcing my separation from the Department of Education as at 5th July, 2019. The decision to end a career that has been such a huge part of my life for so long has been very carefully considered throughout the duration of my leave and I feel that now is the right time to officially bid farewell to my “school family”.

After 33 years and 3 months of teaching it is time to put away the programs, assessments, reports, timetables, syllabus documents, and the vast collection of teaching paraphernalia and resources and say goodbye to long working days and weekends and hello to sleep-ins and days of enjoyment and leisure! I don’t view this as “retirement” but rather as the beginning of the next phase of my life. As the saying goes, “Life is too short”.

My teaching career began at Ingleburn on 10th April 1985 and finished at Ingleburn on 6th July 2018. I have often been asked why I stayed at Ingleburn PS for all of these years. My answer has always been that it was a great school to be at, with a dedicated and amazing staff and it’s close to home! Why should I leave? Ingleburn Public School has been my other “home”, for such a long time, and I find it hard to believe that I am leaving. Over the years I have established my ”school family” – wonderful and dedicated people with whom I’ve worked for many years; who have helped and mentored me, laughed and cried with me, consoled and supported me, celebrated successes and achievements with me and shaped me into the teacher that I am. I have been fortunate enough to have made some wonderful and enduring friendships during these years.

As I look back on my career I recall a mix of talented, challenging, friendly, determined children who gave their best efforts to succeed; parents who were supportive and appreciative of the efforts teachers gave to their child, and who willingly gave their time either organising or helping with events, and finally the dedicated teachers who consistently worked long hours and gave their all to ensure that IPS provided a range of educational programs and activities to suit the needs of all its students. Well done and thank you to everyone!

Teaching is a demanding, challenging, overwhelmingly busy and yet fun career. It can be the best of times and the worst of times, but ultimately it is one of the most rewarding careers a person can have. I have been very proud to have been a teacher in the Public Education system for the majority of my life.

So, with the fondest of memories and with warmest regards, I say farewell.

Miss Irene Hrabica

The Game Changer Challenge is back

It’s not too late to become a Game Changer with applications for the Education Week challenge due by 7 June.

The Game Changer Challenge brings 16 teams from public schools across NSW – eight from primary and eight from secondary – to Sydney during Education Week in August for a three-day, intensive design-thinking workshop.

The Game Changer workshops, which start on Tuesday 6 August, includes teacher training in the use of design thinking as a teaching methodology and its application for school planning.

It also includes a team competition where schools will work under the guidance of experts from industry and academia to develop a solution to this year’s critical question: How might we humanise technology?

Department of Education Secretary Mark Scott has encouraged students and teachers to get behind the event as it highlights the critical thinking students will need to develop to succeed in the future.

“The Game Changer Challenge is an exciting initiative that helps educate and inform our students and teachers on how to integrate the problem-solving methodology of design thinking into the classroom,” Mr Scott says.

“It embraces the 21st century skills our students will need to thrive in a globalised world such as collaboration, creative thinking and communication.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for our students at all levels to be involved in discussing and addressing a real-world issue that will affect their future lives. I encourage every school to get involved.”

The challenge is designed to make strong learning and teaching connections to the NSW syllabus specifically in the area of developing general capabilities such as critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, communication and problem-solving.

The challenge also provides teachers with an opportunity to gain exposure to the design thinking process and includes teacher resources to introduce this creative problem-solving methodology into the classroom.

Finalists will be selected based on a 60-second video that showcases your team’s vision around the question of humanising technology.

For more information email edweek@det.nsw.edu.au or visit the Game Changer Challenge page.

They discovered the meanings of transparent, translucent and opaque while doing various experiments related to light. The class had many choices such as creating a amazing kaleidoscope, looking through panes of thick coloured plastic.

The National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) is a point in time assessment for students in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9. The tests assess the foundational skills in reading, writing, spelling and numeracy that are essential for every child to progress through school and life.

This year NAPLAN takes place between 14 and 16 May for paper tests and between 14 and 24 May for schools participating in NAPLAN Online.

NAPLAN data is used to help monitor student progress over time against a national measure and to identify areas of strength and improvement. It is used in combination with other school assessments to guide and support student learning.

Watch students ask an expert the tough questions about NAPLAN.

2020 Opportunity Class Information

Please read the information below regarding 2020 Opportunity Classes.

Relevant to 2019 Year 4 students.

Opportunity classes cater for academically gifted and talented students who may otherwise be without sufficient classmates at their own academic and social level. These schools help gifted and talented students to learn by grouping them with other gifted and talented students, teaching them in specialised ways and providing educational materials at the appropriate level. Applications for opportunity class placement are considered mainly on the combined results of the Opportunity Class Placement Test and school assessments. The Opportunity Class Placement Test will be held on Wednesday 31 July 2019.

If you would like to have your child considered for Year 5 opportunity class entry in 2020, you need to apply soon. You will need to apply on the internet using a valid email address (not the student’s email address).

Detailed instructions on how to apply online will be available from Tuesday 30 April 2019 at https://education.nsw.gov.au/public-schools/selective-high-schools-and-opportunity-classes/year-5

The application website opens on Tuesday 30 April 2019 and closes on Friday 17 May 2019. You must apply by the due date. There are no paper application forms. If you do not have internet access, you could apply at a public library. If you have a disability that prevents you from using a computer, you can contact the Team for assistance after 30 April 2019. You must submit only ONE application for each student.

Please note: The school cannot apply on your behalf.

Bring back memories, not measles

With school holidays just around the corner, it’s time to visit your doctor to check that you and your family are fully protected against measles, before you travel overseas.

Measles is a serious, highly contagious, viral illness that is easily spread through the air when an infectious person coughs, sneezes or breathes. If you and your family are not fully vaccinated, or have never been vaccinated, you are at risk of contracting measles.

Not sure if you’re fully protected?

In Australia, the measles vaccine (MMR) consists of 2 doses. If you’re not sure whether you’ve had 2 doses of the measles vaccine, visit your doctor. It’s safe to receive another dose.

Children born in Australia

If your children were born in Australia, they may have received the measles vaccine at 12 months old and the second dose at 18 months, in accordance with the National Immunisation Program.

If you have a baby under 12 months old, consult your doctor about getting their measles vaccination.

Adults born in Australia

Born before 1966 – you were most likely exposed to measles as a child and are generally considered to be immune. If in doubt, ask your GP.

Born between 1966 and 1994 – you may not have received 2 doses. Talk to your doctor about the free vaccine if you’re unsure.

Born after 1994 – the National Immunisation Program offers 2 doses, and you can check your vaccination status using the Australian Immunisation Register.

For more information about the measles vaccination, visit NSW Health or consult your local doctor.

Well done to Dayton, Leti, Lisiate, Jayden, Wise, Dimitri, Isikeli, Paul, Ronel and Lachlan for representing our school with so much pride. A special mention must go to Jai Leatham for volunteering to help coach the team on the day. Well done Boys.

Thursday saw the swimming carnival for our 3-4 students which was a great day. The Koreans, along with Mr Green and Ms Dao toured Hurlstone High School at this time.

For their final day, they had a lot of fun interacting with out students. They taught a Korean traditional game- similar to hackysacks with the whold school at lunch time, along with another game to 3/4M in the Discovery Centre.

Thank you to all students for showing respect to our visitors.

This years swimming carnival was absolutely splashing with novelty events galore and the water park was filled with laughter as swimmers in the main pool competed in multipe events earning their house's points.

These races were freestyle (100 and 50m), breaststroke and butterfly. As amazing as it sounds, a total of 30 students actually completed competitive races. Hopefully more will compete next year.

This years 'eacher only' novelty event included inflatables flipping and slipping with lots of falls. Bass was victorious in this event with Joshua competing in every race but somehow Oxley sunk their way to the top with their total score of 60. Flinders came in a close second with 59.

5 road safety tips for parents and carers

Now that students are back to school after a break it’s a good time to chat with your child about safe behaviours when you walk or commute to school.

Here are our top tips to help our students make a safe trip:

1. Be alert and aware

Take note of the dangers you come across on your walk and bring them to your child’s attention. Point out dangers, such as vehicles coming out of driveways. Talk to your child about being alert in a road environment.

2. Hold hands

When on the footpath, at a crossing or in a car park always hold your child's hand. It is advised to do this up to the age of at least 8 years old and closely supervise until at least the age of 10.

3. Choose a safe crossing

Lead by example and choose a safe place to cross the road. Explain why it is the safest place to cross.

4. Set a good example

Your child watches everything you do, so if you cross at the crossing they will too. It is also important to share these messages with other carers who may walk with your child to school.

5. Stop, Look, Listen, Think every time you cross the road

Discuss this important road safety message. STOP! one step back from the kerb. LOOK! continuously both ways. LISTEN! for the sounds of approaching traffic. THINK! whether it is safe to cross.

Practise makes perfect

The more supervised practice your child can get the better, so why not make Term 1 the start of a new routine to walk with your child to school more often.

Older children may be ready to make the journey to school independently. Before they take this step, observe if they are road safe and reinforce the road safety messages.

For more information, check out the department’s pedestrian safety advice for students, parents and carers.

2019 school budget allocations

Like all NSW public schools, this week we will receive a School Budget Allocation Report with our funding for 2019. The report will help us manage our total budget delivered through the Resource Allocation Model (RAM).

The RAM supports schools through needs-based funding to ensure a fair, efficient and transparent allocation of funds. Our school has the flexibility to make local decisions based on the specific needs of our students.

We will use our 2019 funding to support students and improve educational outcomes. The school executive will continue to work with the school community as we implement the school plan using this needs-based funding.

Learn more about the 2019 RAM funding.

It is really exciting to announce that Ingleburn Public School has been selected to host the world’s first school-based clinic to provide Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT).

Six schools and a preschool in Campbelltown and Liverpool area (Ingleburn Public School, Macquarie Fields PS, Sackville Street PS, Warwick Farm PS, Robert Townson PS and Campbelltown Community Preschool) have come together with the goal to establish the clinic to provide PCIT - one of the most effective programs for managing emotional and behavioural problems in your children.

We know our students, teachers, parents and the community are going to benefit greatly from this initiative and we are working hard to make it a reality. But we really need your support!

We have created a fundraising page with Schools Plus, an organisation that connects donors with schools. Your generosity would enable us to build the treatment room ready for opening in Term 1, 2019. This will allow parents, children and teachers from across the community to access free, tailored PCIT intervention.

You can help support us in a number of ways:

DONATE directly to our fundraising page here. All donations over $2 are tax deductible

SHARE our story with people you know and encourage them to donate (this could be your friends and family, other business owners and suppliers)

Together, we can make a difference to our students’ futures.

We really appreciate your help with ensuring PCIT is a success and supporting our local community.

That was the message from the Premier, Gladys Berejiklian, as she launched Education Week celebrations today at Parramatta and Kiama public schools.

"I know that all schools across the state today are highlighting and celebrating what we all value in public education – where someone like me who couldn't speak a word of English when she started school has somehow ended up being the Premier of NSW," she said.

Ms Berejiklian said she had met many possible future leaders during her visit to Parramatta Public School and "couldn't be prouder, as your Premier, to witness the outstanding achievements of all the students across the state".

The dual school launch, linked via a live simulcast, focused on the theme of Education Week, Today's schools – creating tomorrow's world, which highlights how NSW public schools are equipping young people with the skills and capabilities they need to thrive in a rapidly changing world.

For the first time the launch was hosted entirely by primary school students and featured student performances from Eastwood Public School violinist Justine Zhang, Bossley Park High School soloist Ezra Loau and dancers from Hoxton Park Public School.

Year 8 students from Kiama High School – Alira Morgan, Jannali Morgan and Olivia Talbott – opened the celebration with an Acknowledgement of Country performed in language.

Keynote speeches were delivered from Kiama by Terara Public School Year 6 student Lucy Boundy, Molly Chapman, a Year 8 student at Dapto High School, and Nowra East Public School instructional leader Vishanti Govender.

Lucy told the launch that education was about opportunity: "Opportunity to learn, opportunity to improve and opportunity to make a difference."

In detailing her early struggles with learning, Molly said a more hands-on approach to study at her high school had a huge impact on her.

"I learn more effectively by seeing and doing things because it gets in my head more easily and pictures are worth a thousand words. Thanks to school, I'm exceeding in almost everything I touch," she said.

Education Minister Rob Stokes highlighted the "incredible legacy" of public schools on society, a role contemporary education and educators would play in the future.

"We are in a period of vast technological, social and economic change, and with that the role of education becomes more important, even bigger, and the challenge for teachers and students becomes more complex," he said.

"We need to provide training in those skills that recognise the future is uncertain and to train and encourage young people not just to be ready for the change that is coming but to be excited by it."

Education Week 2018 - Today's schools creating tomorrow's world

The future of education will be showcased in NSW public schools from August 6 – 10 as students, teachers and parents across the state celebrate Education Week 2018.

Education Week kicks off on Monday, August 6, with a simultaneous launch at Parramatta and Kiama public schools livestreamed on YouTube so all government schools and their communities can join in.

This year's theme, Today's schools – creating tomorrow's world, highlights how NSW public schools are equipping young people with the skills and capabilities they need to thrive in a rapidly changing world.

For the first time the Education Week launch will be hosted by primary school students and will feature a dancing robot, student performances and a film highlighting how schools are working with their communities to solve real-world problems.

A highlight of the week is the Game Changer Challenge, in which 16 teams of students from schools across NSW will compete in a three-day design program, working alongside leading industry professionals to create the school of the future.

Premier Gladys Berejiklian said today's students were learning at a time of great change.

"From the far west to our metropolitan hubs and everywhere in between, our state's schools will celebrate not only what we've achieved, but the future we are creating," Ms Berejiklian said.

"We are living in a time when the traditional walls of the classroom are opening up to new worlds of learning, paving the way for students to connect and collaborate with their peers regionally and globally."

Education Minister Rob Stokes said there had never been a more exciting time to be involved in schools with technology reshaping the way students learn and billions of dollars being invested in new school infrastructure.

"The NSW Department of Education is continually striving for improvement and innovation so that the young people in our care learn in a world-class education system," Mr Stokes said.

"The NSW Government is supporting that vision through a record $6 billion in funding to build the classrooms and schools of the future."

The Secretary of the Department of Education Mark Scott said ensuring today's students had the skills they would need to "not just survive, but thrive" in the future underpinned the department's evidence-based approach to learning.

"I am incredibly proud of the innovative teaching and learning that is being done across our State's public schools to ensure that every student can perform to their full potential," Mr Scott said.

"We don't know what the future will hold, but we do know that we are focused on equipping today's students with the skills and knowledge they will need to lead fulfilling lives in the future."

New uniform policy for NSW public schools

A new uniform policy has been introduced for NSW public schools, which for the first time include the option for girls to wear shorts and pants.

The Premier, Gladys Berejiklian, and the Minister for Education, Rob Stokes, announced the new "clear and concise" policy today at Condell Park Public School in Sydney.

Ms Berejiklian said the "modern makeover" would ensure that uniforms were practical and comfortable for students and affordable for parents.

The new policy says all students should have the opportunity to access the full range of school activities while wearing a school uniform, including physical activities, and girls must have the option to wear shorts and pants.

For more information, read the media release by the Premier and Minister. The new policy and implementation guidelines (PDF 116.83KB) are available on the department's website.

The Department of Education supports the wearing of school uniform to promote a sense of belonging for students and create a positive identity for the school community.

Each public school decides on its school uniform in formal consultation with students, school staff, parents and the school community.

The four pillars of the school vision was brought to life with the Stage 3 Student Conference and subsequent student – led workshops for the rest of the school. Our Stage 3 Leaders facilitated Innovation, Collaboration, Empowerment and Global Citizens. From this, we have empowered students to be future focussed global citizens – initiating a blanket drive for the homeless and also Care Packages for kids with cancer at Westmead Children's Hospital.

Teachers were empowered with future focus skills in providing a holistic education for students with professional development including: teacher self-directed learning and research, exploring the Eight Elements of Success, the iPad Cluster Program and Universal Design for Learning to name a few.

Students used See-Saw, Book Creator, Clips and more to demonstrate their learning. Successes in multimedia applications include Ingleburn PS' award of a major prize in the Film by the Sea Festival with two short movie clips.

Our well-rounded students represented Ingleburn PS at Regional Spelling Bee, Public Speaking, Debating (state), and also successfully gaining placement at the Interschool Chess Challenge, not to mention their results in ICAS Competitions.

The fun and learning was not limited to this. We also launched our new mascot – Iggy, who was designed by students and came to life when our Principal Mr. Green received an award and recognition – being in the Top 50 of Australia for his innovation and educational leadership. We are very proud and fortunate to have Mr. Green as our leader – driving innovative practice. In his address, he reflected on the vibrant global school that we are, leading the way in innovation and success.

"Ingleburn Public is a school where you can dream, create and build the most innovative ideas. It is a school where everyone is welcome, valued and empowered to make a positive difference in our own way for ourselves, our school, our families and our world. It is a school where children, parents and teachers work together to pave the way towards learning success, social wellbeing and global responsibility".

We would like to thank all of Ingleburn Public School staff for their professionalism and dedication to their roles and acknowledge staff who have brought enthusiasm and knowledge to the school, promoting excellence and supporting our students to improve results. It is this dedication and enthusiasm that provides the opportunities and successes of our students.

A huge thank you to the parents and friends who support and are active partners in this journey, attending and engaging with some/all of school events. I am sure that you have enjoyed seeing the students in action at these events. We value the support as we build the Ingleburn Education Community.

Thank you to our amazing P&C – you are a small group who have worked tirelessly and successfully to support our school.

Swimming Carnival

It was an extremely stinking hot day on the 24th February. Luckily 190 students went to the refreshing Macquarie Fields Leisure Centre. It was loud, competitive with Flinders shouting and screaming, Sturt rampaging and screeching, Oxley flailing their banners and banging on the wall and Bass cheering as loud as their lungs could yell. There were many types of swimming races like freestyle, backstroke, butterfly and freestyle. For those who didn't compete there were lots of water play activities on the grassed area.

It was a very enjoyable day and I'm sure everyone enjoyed it. Results to be reported in the upcoming newsletter.

A fantastic morning was had on Monday 24 August 2015 to officially open our Discovery Centre. The children had lots of fun dressing up as their favourite book characters and parading down the red carpet. Thank you to the invited guests, parents, carers and community members who attended. The Macarthur Advertiser has published a news article and gallery of pictures on their website. Don't forget to also check out the fantastic gallery of pictures we have also uploaded.

The evening highlighted the 'Road to Future Learning' journey our school is on, ensuring that our students are developing skills for the 21st century. Parents and carers in attendance had the opportunity to visit a number of innovative learning spaces across the school including the maker room, The Think Tank, open learning classrooms in Kindergarten and Stage 3 and the contemporary classroom of 4/5R. The feedback received from parents during the evening was overwhelmingly positive and we trust that all who attended found the evening worthwhile.

The First Ever KidMeet: A Success?

What happens when 6 genius classes from 3 creative schools, meet and present to each other? Does it create a fantastic day of learning where students learn from each other?

On the 13th of October 3/4B and 5/6U went to Mount Prichard East Public School. Glenwood Public School arrived shortly after us. We then went to the hall there we were given note taking paper, a pen and a label with our name and school on it. Everything had the #KidMeetSWS logo on it which was decided through a competition which I won. First we played a bingo-type game where we had to ask people questions like ‘are you in year 3?'. We were not allowed to ask students from our own school questions or ask the same student twice.

Next we did the presentations. We had one presentation from each school running at a time which was referred to as a session. We had 4 sessions before lunch. Some of the topics were: how to make your own computer game, how to speak French, lightning strikes, Antarctica and the solar system.

For lunch we had a delicious sausage sizzle and we were allowed to play in the big field but about 5 minutes to the end it started raining so we sat under the shelter and talked.

After lunch we had an activity where we had to build a structure strong enough to hold a packet of paper in groups of six (2 from each school). We then had 2 more sessions. At the end schools exchanged gifts to say thank you.

Was #kidmeetSWS a success? To me it was a great success.

	HEALTHY CANTEEN COMMITTEE

At Ingleburn Public School we are currently looking at ways to improve the health and nutritional knowledge of our students, parents and the wider community. As part of this process, we are undertaking a revamp of the canteen menu, structure and operating system to make it more health friendly. We are looking for anyone who is interested in being part of this exciting process and value your knowledge and input in relation to the changes we can make. Whether you're a parent, carer, grandparent, nutritionist, health officer, dietician or a member of the community who is passionate about health, we welcome your attendance at our first ‘Healthy Canteen Committee' meeting to be held on Thursday 30 October 2014 in the Ingleburn Public School Staffroom at 3.15pm. Please bring along any ideas you have which would benefit our school, we look forward to seeing you there.

A Fantastic Stage 2 Space Excursion
Recount by Aglaya and Grace

Stage two went on a space excursion to the wonderful Powerhouse museum in the city. First, the lucky people went on a bus ride filled with laughter to the museum. After that we had a quick crunch and sip as everyone was excited to see the spectacular exhibitions.

Soon enough we saw the cars of the past. They were absolutely splendid as the ancient cars reminded the teachers of what their grandparents used to drive in. We even saw a car or should I say limousine of what kings or the queen's chauffeur used to drive them in.

We went to a machine that used to make beer. That's right a beer engine run by horsepower. The awesome machine weighs a colossal thirty-three TONNES. It is the oldest working engine in the whole wide WORLD.

Soon after, the iconic Strasburg Clock, which of course nobody could forget came into view. After that we sat down and listened to the explanation as the awesome clock moved.

Then we looked at the amazing exhibit of the new and improved machines in the future like new sneakers.

Next the fortunate people of 3/4B came to look at the things the people used in the past like steam engines and water pumps, also a bright red train.

After the things of the past we paid another visit to the beer making machine that started working using man and steam power.

After a bit of walking to get recess around we came to the fantastic park. Where everybody got at least a bit dizzy.

Next we checked out the dancing robot where we played some head banging rock. The gross thing was we saw a REAL HUMAN BRAIN!!!

That's where we met up with the so called ‘Captain Chip' all the way from NASA. We learnt the ways to go toilet and how to shower in space. Last on our tour was the zero gravity room and there were a few side effects. We also travelled through time with a space race where Team USA versed Team RUSSIA, can you guess who won?
